For the Economy Plitvice tour from Split we’ll meet on the main Riva Promenade, in front of the bronze model of the town (Model Grada Splita), please see the ‘Important’ tab with the meeting point and directions. Once we’re all accounted for, we’ll take the highway up north to Plitvice Lakes National Park in a comfortable and air-conditioned bus. No matter what time of the year you decide to visit Plitvice Lakes, you won’t be sorry – each season promises an unforgettable experience, and the park’s breathtaking scenery reveals a natural wonder unlike you’ve witnessed before.
Economy Plitvice tour from Split
Plitvice Lakes National Park consists of two parts – the Upper Lakes and Lower Lakes.
You’ll begin by exploring the 12 interconnected lakes in the upper part of Plitvice. Following wooden footpaths, each corner of the park surrounds you with lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and a thriving ecosystem that completes this natural phenomenon. It is an experience that will not only leave you impressed, but allows you to be one with nature.
From the Upper Lakes, the tour continues with a scenic boat ride to the Lower Lakes.
The Lower Lakes are home to Croatia’s tallest waterfall which you’ll be able to track from a distance thanks to its thundering roar. The beauty of this area is also complemented by numerous caves and an incredible variety of flora and fauna.
After we finish exploring Plitvice Lakes, we’ll stop on our way back to Split for lunch in one of the authentic taverns of this region.

Entrance tickets need to be paid in cash, in Euros so make sure to prepare the
exact amount before departure.
Entrance fee to the national park is not included in the tour ticket. You will be charged additional entrance fee on the day of departure according to the table below.
Purchasing of the entrance tickets is organized by travel agency. Please do not purchase tickets for National Park online. We’ll make a reservation in advance and check you in as a group.
