Speedboats as a means of transport are highly recommended in the Adriatic area, particularly if you need to reach an island. It’s the most efficient and accommodating option especially if you’re coming by plane as any other means would take much longer. For example, with our speedboats we can reach Hvar Island in less than 60 minutes, while providing you with the opportunity to witness some of the most spectacular views Croatia has to offer.

Šugaman’s speedboats
Šugaman operates couple types of speed boats, all of which are tested and reliable. For shorter transfers we use Maestral 745 speedboats. Maestral was manufactured in 2013 in accordance with ISO 6186 standards. It uses a Honda engine with 250 horse power and is almost eight meters long. It holds a capacity of twelve people including staff.
The other speedboat type we use for speedboat transfers is Lolivul 9.0,manufactured in 2013. It was specially designed in Croatia to adhere to all types of weather conditions associated with the Adriatic Sea. However, it is suitable for other sea areas as it meets the highest standards verified by Germanischer Lloyd, GL. This speedboat uses a Honda engine as well, with 250 horse power. It is 10 meters long and it allows for a capacity of 12 people including staff. This speed boat is used for longer transfers.
Both types of speed boats can take a good portion of luggage as its weight capacity is more than 1500 kilos. And of course, your luggage stays clean and dry as they are stored safely.

Šugaman staff
All Šugaman staff (including marketing and administrative staff) obtained the Marine Certificate issued by the Croatian Port Authority which makes Šugaman tours water transfer and water taxi specialists.
More importantly, all our water taxi drivers acquire Navigation Certificates issued by the Croatian Port Authorities as well. Finally, our skippers have many years of experience in not only driving speedboats but also in their maintenance.

Destinations
Most of our guests require transfers to the Island of Hvar as it is the most famous island, and for good reason. Some of the most beautiful Adriatic and Dalmatian sights can be found there.
Moreover, Hvar has the most attractive social life, and particularly nightlife. But there are other islands as well. Brač, for example, has a few hundred year old tradition in stone mining. Aside from that it has some of the most attractive natural spots as well as beaches. There are other, more peaceful, islands for those who came just to forget about urban lifestyle stress. These are Šolta, as the closest Island from the airport, but also Vis and Lastovo.
